Welcome Winter
In rural West Bengal, India women welcome winter in a ceremony called GARSI. Generally on the final day of Autumn they wake up before sunrise, gather around fire and apply oil on their skin as moisturizer. In the photo women from a farmer family was caught on camera during the ceremony.
