Quenching Order
The Thomson's gazelle (Eudorcas thomsonii) is one of the best-known gazelles. It is named after explorer Joseph Thomson and is sometimes referred to as a "tommie". These two are drinking at Okaukuejo waterhole. They and their large herd have had to wait patiently for the afternoon waterhole quenching order - first elephants, then zebra, kudu, gemsbok and finally the Tommies can quench their thirst. Rhino then Giraffe visit during the night.
