Ganga Aarti Dev Diwali
Dev Diwali, or Festival of Lights of the Gods, is the largest annual festival in Varanasi, India's holiest city. On this date, according to my guide, all the Hindu Gods descend upon Varanasi to partake in the festival. In response, 21 Brahman priests and 24 young girls line up on the bank of the Ganges, and perform the Ganga Aarti, a puja to India's most holy river.
