While traveling in China in December, 2013, my group visited the Promenade of Jinshawan in Zhanjiang. While there, we literally walked into a large birthday party for a group of school children. The children were ecstatic to have us Americans among them and were anxious to try out their English. They gave us snacks and some of their birthday cake.
