Edit Photo Details Cell phones light the Vancouver sky
Vancouverites celebrate the new year by watching the firework display over the harbor. A large majority of viewers are capturing the show through their cell phones. This moment put the overuse of cell phones in the modern day into perspective for me. The light given off by cell phone screens is just as bright as the fireworks and the skyline in the distance. I was lucky to capture this photo as I only took a few before attempting to be in the moment and enjoy the celebration through my eyes.
