Diver in Yucatan peninsula cenote
The Yucatan peninsula is a limestone latticework of interconnecting underground rivers and caves, the cenotes. Filled with fresh water, the system communicates with the ocean. The extreme water clarity, overlying jungle and mixing of fresh and salt water make for a unique diving experience.
