A competitor in the infamous Dragon's Back Race nears the end of the second stage of this week long running event that descends the length of Wales. I camped out in this surreal wood, silent but for the occasional sound of footsteps over a thick pine carpet as runners neared the finish. The light cast such long shadows it felt like a movie set.
