Hemkund, at a 4200 breath-taking meter altitude, pristine and enigmatic. One of the holiest shrines and lakes to the Sikh community, it reflects one's spirit and the clouds that descend at mid-morning each day. This lake in the Himalayas is small but deep, and surrounded by seven peaks which, at various times of day, reflect in the cold, clear and still waters.
