After a long days hike I stopped at this lake in upstate New York near my home. I sat and watched as the sun slowly regressed behind the mountain and the vibrant pink colors began to engulf the dark blue lake it was moments before. I wondered how I became so lucky to live in such a wonderful place. I stayed there until the pink was gone and I could see no more.
