While driving on The Blue Ridge Parkway towards the famous Linn Cove Viaduct, I decided to stretch my legs and find some solitude from the rush of ongoing cars packed with peak season visitors to our area. After hiking "off trail" for just 5 minutes, I found this amazingly peaceful spot. I could have spent hours listening to the sound of this creek.
