The Carezza Lake ("Karersee" in german and "Lec de Ergobando" in local ladin language) is a small alpine lake at 1.534 m, situated in Italy, Trentino-Alto Adige, Val d'Ega, belonging to the municipality of Nova Levante at 25 km from Bolzano. It is nestled in a thick forest of alpine firs and is situated under the slope of the Latemar Massif which is mirrored in the pure and cristalline water of this amazing lake. The highest level is usually reached in spring during the thawing period (17 m).
