Hunter River at twilight
The Hunter River , at twilight the sky and willow trees reflected on the water .
The water isnt the best to drink , with a lot of coal mines , dairy farms and a tannery upstream , but its clear enough the carp that have taken over from the native fish can be seen patrolling up and down usually , I somehow think that theyre even shinier , because of all the Chromium dumped in the water from the tannery upstream . Is a sad kid of beauty , a kind of haunting memory of what could have been, if only
