"Actinocephalus bongardii" by Augustin François César Prouvençal de Saint-Hilaire, 4 October 1779 / 3 September 1853. French botanist and traveler, was born at "Orléans", France. In his first voyage, from 1816 to 1822, he explored the Brazilian backlands, traveling around 10000 km in Brazil.The works by which he is best known are the Brazilian flora. Here, an wonderful plant of "São José" hills, a Natural Park in countryside of "Minas Gerais" state, Brazil.
