A boardwalk connecting all the guest cabins and communal buildings makes it possible to visit Kapawi Ecolodge, located on the Pastaza River in the heart of the Ecuadorian rainforest, even during the high-water season. Shooting through the slats of the boardwalk just before sunset provided an image of the plants beneath as well as reflections from the boardwalk itself.
