As I paced around the famous Merlion fountain in Singapore, suddenly all my worries about life and forging a career crystalized into two questions: “How do you photograph something that has been shot a million times? What do you do when everything’s been done?” I kept snapping away as the sun set, but was unsatisfied. Then I looked down and saw something the hundred other photographers around me seemingly had no interest in. It gave me a little hope that if I keep working, I'll find my shot.
