We had just completed our winter mountaineering trip through the Annapurna circuit region in Nepal. On that specific day we had crossed Thorong pass and our stop for the day was Muktinath. Muktinath lies in the trans Himalayan high desert region of Mustang. Next morning as we got up the first light of dawn had hit the nearby village of Jharkot. What happened next was a special play of colors and shadows and it was just golden hour magic.
