An old man with a load of grass on back, rests near a rock on his way back to home. It is a usual practice in villages of Garhwal Himalayas, mostly for women, to collect fodder from the surrounding forest. Walking on narrow trails they carry huge bundles of grass on their backs. A misplaced foot, while bringing grass on back, have claimed lives of many women in this area.
