The Footbridge: Private Moments of Glory
Daily jogging trains her to cross each bridge, step through each physical & mental barrier – her legs, upper body & cardio system getting stronger – for life. The Riddle of the Sphinx says that with age, we need a third leg to walk at night, after sunset. Because we’ve become upright, many of us will have knee surgery, most will have ugly spinal bones spurs. For years, I racewalked 5+ miles each day - then became disabled. At 60, I hobble & dip, dizzy each step, many in pain, taking photographs.
