After miles of driving from Illinois to Wisconsin, I found Jeff's coffee bar on the road in Janesville, WI. I entered and met Jeff: Jeff was born in Northern California. At age 7, he moved to Wisconsin with his parents. He used to travel a lot, as far as Europe, eventually returned to Wisconsin. Although Jeff opened his coffee bar in Janesville, he says he never learns how to love where he lives. Jeff misses Northern California....

Wen, so so pleased you went out on the Built to Walk assignment yesterday, not only creating new images, creating lateral views and vistas rather than images of only people walking. You are taking photography and the purpose of this assignment to heart. Of the three photographs you submitted, this was rises highest, with excellent composition with the hanging cups, the casual nature of the fellow behind the counter, the overall feeling throughout the frame. Keep such layered visions flowing.
