Whilst hiking at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, I had just been explaining to my friend, who accompanied me, that some of my favorite photographs are those which have light peeking through the mist and trees in an eerie, yet awe-inspiring manner. Being a rookie in the photography realm I figured it would take sometime before I captured that type of photo. A few minutes later, while exploring off trail, the perfect photo that I had always wanted to capture presented itself to me.
