From the intense heat and blazing sunshine, we intended to carry on through the Tioga Pass to Nevada.... we found it closed due to deep, deep snow, so made our way back to Mariposa to re-think our route. Luckily, the following day, Tioga Pass opened, and the route was FREEZING, but breathtakingly beautiful.... this is Sentinel Beach in Yosemite National Park - not quite ready for sun bathing!
