On January, 16th 2015 the people of Canals, a small town in the south of Spain, burned an 18 meters high christmas tree like thing, espescially built for this purpose to worship St. Antonius de Abad, patron of the animals. The fire fighters were working to keep the fire under control. They sprayed water in the fire and on the walls of the buildings around to prevent them from catching fire. It was extremely hot there and one of the sparks burned a little hole in my jacket.
