Spent an hour or two trying to get pictures of the birds that hang out on my small deck. OK, I put some bait on the railing. Then put my camera on a tripod, and cracked open the sliding glass door, and pre-focused on the bait. Oh, used a shutter release cable and tried to remain inconspicuous. Canon 60D - settings were 1/250 sec, f/13, ISO 3200, and focal length 250mm. And the little guy won.
