Last weekend my dad took my family to the Merced National Wildlife Refuge. It's only 20 minutes from our house and we had no idea it had been there. The only one we knew of was the one my dad built behind his work. The amount of birds there was incredible and this little bird was one of the few who was floating all alone so I thought it was the perfect time to snap a picture.
