Built to Walk - Kawah Ijen (2/3)
The workers do two runs each night, two kilometers up to the top, then 300 meters down in the crater. Then they fill up their baskets and climb all the way up again before they starts to walk back down the volcano.
The baskets can weigh up to 90 kilos and they carry them all the way down, unless they are lucky enough to afford a small carrier so they can drag it down.
