MAROONDAH RESERVOIR
The Maroondah Dam is dam across the Watts River, located in the Central region of the Australian state of Victoria (about 71 km (44 miles) from Melbourne..
The storage created by the dam is called Maroondah Reservoir and supplies drinkable water for Greater Metropolitan Melbourne.
It took 8 years to construct the dam: from 1920 to 1928 among a eucalypt forest which has now become the Maroondah Reservoir Park with a large garden landscaped in an "English style”.
