The Isle of Skye is the only place I've ever visited where the moment I arrived, I felt like I'd come home. This island re-ignited my love of photography after being out of it since I was a teenager. This early morning shot on the Trotternish ridge on Skye, perfectly captures why I love this place, and the natural world around us. It may not be technically perfect, but being one of the shots that got me back into this wonderful world, I was happy with this result from an entry level DSLR.
