Edit Photo Details First Encounters!   #underwater #manta #manta_ray
I cannot count the number of times I have had tears in my mask. This moment was one of those times. The emotion and body language in this image reminds me of how inspiring the ocean can be. This was the first time the diver outstretched on his back had ever encountered a Manta and his excitement is palpable. We'll never know but it also looks to me that it could have been the first time this particular Manta had ever encountered these strange, bubbling creatures. I hope he too was inspired.
