I am Assata Shakur. I am everything she is. Her struggles and her strengths. She dedicated her entire life and freedom for the liberation of her people. The liberation of her people from the continued injustice, prejudice and discriminatory treatment by the U.S. government. She was fearless. Feared no man and did everything she deemed necessary to free the African-American people. She is a champion of human, civil, and equal rights.
