Fish in the underwater mangroves
These are Florida mangroves which are essential for the fishing population in our state. The mangroves serve a number of purposes but they are used as nurseries by a large number of the fish, sharks and other marine life that live in the waters surrounding the State of Florida. I took this photo from overhead and the yellow coloring of the water are the tannins that are released from the mangroves.
