One of my favorite hardcore bands of all time had broken up just before I ever had the opportunity to see them after releasing "the shape of punk to come" ... a record that still receives praise after almost 20 years. i've traveled across the US 6 times since their reunion to see them live, and finally had an opportunity to snag a few shows in my home town. here's on of my favorite photos of Dennis standing on top of the crowd at a sold out bowery ballroom.
