Despite the simplicity of the photo, I like it because somewhere, in the back of my mind, neat arrangement of the flowers and the medley of colours remind me of a pattern of some sort. I'd taken photos of bees collecting nectar at flowers from various angles, but this is the only one from the top; provided a bird's eye view of sorts. I was not disappointed.
