Lisbon is well known for its old-fashioned trams that lurch and screech around the narrow streets and up the city hills, winding around tight corners and driving against steep gradients that are unsuitable for modern trams. I waited on the corner to catch the famous tram no. 28 while moving through historic city quarters just to illustrate its vivid presence to this day.
