    Reported by:

The Fredrick House River runs north to James Bay in Northern Ontario. Back in the 1800's there was an important Hudson Bay Post on the river which collected fur pelts from the local natives. Fredrick House was also the site of a mass murder back in 1800's as well where 12 men were killed. The fur trade was quite a nasty business at one time. With spring approaching, the river is starting to break up and move.
