I was happy to read today that Aung San Suu Kyi, long time political prisoner under house arrest, will now be a minister in Myanmar's new government. I stood outside her home in the capital, Yangon, a few years back and took this photo at a nearby temple. For me, the image seemed symbolic of the plight of all voices of consciousness and change.
