Everybody will tell that loosing a dear family member or friend is a terrible thing. Loosing a child is a desaster for the heart and soul. I shot this statue in a cemetery . A child has died in 1947 and all the pain through time is told by the cracks, the dirt and the scratches. I managed to have light and darkness by shooting with the sun facing camera. This way, i tell a story about sadness , hope and beautiful memories. I felt respect looking at this fragile statue . We live, we love, we die
