Although today is the spring equinox, no sun is to be found in the Pittsburgh area, only a constant back and forth precipitation of snow and rain. Wet flakes instantly melt and turn into beautiful, crystal-ball spheres on the magnolia buds and blooms, confirming that spring is arriving, and winter is losing its icy grasp.
