My daughter's pet Cockatiel named Peeps was near death. Her and my daughter were inseparable. Peeps was always near her or perched on her head. They had a bedtime routine that involved singing and "scritches" on Peeps head. Of all our pets, Peeps was the one that took to my daughter the most. After school she flew to her and helped with homework by chewing up her pencils. We buried her in my daughters flower patch with yellow Zinnias. This Spring, we will plant more yellow ones in her memor.
