    Edit Photo Details Halaqa at Masjid al-Haram   #islam #muslims #makkah #masjidalharam #halaqa
I had just returned from the holy Kaaba during what was my first proper photowalk ever, and suddenly walked into this halaqa which was happening at the western part of the main complex of Masjid al-Haram. The speaker was delivering in Arabic, but later an attendant told me that he was actually a Pakistani. Halaqa is a form of gathering to discuss Islamic issues which usually has one or a group of prime speakers, but, unlike in Khutbah, the audience is too supposed to participate.
