Thunderstorms over Hayden Valley
I was driving around Yellowstone National Park looking for some wildlife to photograph when I came up on a bison jam in Hayden Valley. Instead of sitting in traffic I just pulled over on the side of the road and took in the scenery. Moments later I noticed some lighting in the distance. The thunder was getting louder and louder with each passing moment. Of course I forgot my tripod in the hotel room so I used the only steady thing I had at the time, my rental car! I stayed until the rain came!
