While my wife was shopping on one of the Florida Keys, boredom quickly set in. I decided to walk behind the store to see if any critters could be found. There was a small boat canal and as I stood looking out over the water, just 4 feet away was a manatee eating off the sea wall. We were both a little startled at first but soon found that neither were real concerned about the other. It would eat, slowly reverse out a few feet, come up for air and then repeat. Better than shopping!!!
