    Reported by:

It's not uncommon for winter storms to wash out parts of Hwy.1, but this was particularly bad because it happened on the main road connecting Mill Valley to Muir Beach. The road was closed down for several months as not only the road had to be rebuilt but a new supporting structure for the hillside had to be constructed first. Here my wife is checking to see where the rest of the road is, half the road is gone and a good portion of the rest is undermined.
