Squabbling swans
The swans have returned to interior Alaska! And...they are a little grumpy after their journey.
We have trumpeter and tundra swans - the latter can be distinguished by their smaller size and the yellow spot most have between the beak and eye. Often our swans are dyed a rusty color due to the high mineral content of the water here.
