    you have to sneak up on dragonflies in my field when they are still grounded by the rain and chill. They know you are coming long before you do, and if warm and dry enough, will always snap out of their resting spot two yards before you see them. But if you find them as the sun rises, they will pose for (almost) as long as you want!
