    Eight years ago, my mother took her final victorious breaths against cancer. Her character was awe-inspiring. Her laugh and positivity echoed throughout hospital rooms while her smile beamed through any cracked heart. Each day I attempt to live out her legacy and the values she held onto. Before she died, she gave me her bible with all the notes she had stored within each thinly spaced page. I woke up January 25th, to watch colors dilute the sky and remember her beautiful mark on my life.
