Up Late at the Fish Market
The men who work at the Fulton Fish Market in New York work overnight, selling fish to restaurants and retailers around the tri-state area. The fish market has been in operation for almost 200 years, and it is still thriving in its new location in the Bronx. This photo is part of a longterm documentary photography project I'm working on about the fish market. I spent several nights at the fish market getting to know these guys. They didn't mind if I hung around taking photos of them working.
