Feather and Hammer
Gunmen on the rooftops and more troops on the ground served as a reminder that not all peaceful people generate universal goodwill. A reverential hush and a rush forward greeted his Holiness as he briefly passed. He brought Leh, Ladakh alive in a way which we did not expect on our arrival to this beautiful Himalayan Kingdom. Fortunately being taller allowed me to hoist my camera. I fired off a burst as I peered through the throng. A peaceful sniper. I got my shot.
