It doesn't rain anywhere near enough in Southern California these days so when it does my 3 year old gets very excited to jump in puddles. We rushed out when the rain stopped and found this little snail enjoying the water too. My daughter was nervous but I am trying to foster a love of all creatures so she gently touched his shell and then we moved him somewhere safe so she could splash!
