The San Pedro market in Cusco, the city's main market, seems to be more than a tourist trap for people like me, but a place where a stray dog might be given some food by, once again, people like me. I discovered markets to be my favourite places to eat while in the bit of South America I got to know. Why? Well, you can find practically anything for a very small fee, and as I learnt during the weeks I spent there it's the best way to know the amazing Peruvian cuisine.
