    I took this photo with my nikon D3300 and Ikelite underwater housing. I took it on April 9th 2016 on an open water free dive, 3 miles off the north coast of Oahu. For the past few decades, shark populations have drastically declined. Over 90% of shark populations in reigns have diminished. This is caused by the over harvesting of sharks for shark fin soup. This bowl of soup is set to kill over 100 million sharks a year. This picture is to display the real, raw beauty of sharks in their element.
